No. Every drive is on a closed circuit with a professional instructor in the car beside you. Drivers need a current learner's licence at minimum, plus 50 logbook hours.

Passengers must be over the age of 7. Anyone under 18 needs parental permission and a guardian to sign the indemnity form.

Minimum clothing is enclosed shoes, preferably long pants and a long shirt. Every participant must also buy a Race X balaclava on the day, for $10.

Arrive 30 minutes before your booking time and head to the Race X administration desk to fill out the paperwork.

You show your ID and confirmation at the desk and receive an armband, attend the drivers' briefing and get a stamp, then head to the staging area in pit lane to suit up. From there you line up in the waiting bays for a car.

Yes. Add anything from the shop to your cart alongside your experience and it is one payment. Choose collection at the track and it is free — we will have it packed and waiting for you on the day, so just speak to one of our Race X staff when you arrive. We will email you once it is ready. Prefer it posted? Australia Post is $15, and free on orders over $150.
